Movement, healing, and holistic wellness have been lifelong passions for Clare. Her approach to bodywork is rooted in a lifetime of study, travel, hands-on experience, and curiosity about how the body heals and maintains balance.
Clare began practicing yoga at 8 years old, planting the seeds for what became a lifestyle centered around movement, mindfulness, and breath awareness. Over the years, her interests expanded beyond yoga into massage, mobility work, sound therapy, Eastern Asian healing traditions, plant medicine, wilderness medicine, and integrative wellness practices from around the world.
Alongside her academic studies, she developed a deep love for outdoor adventure, wilderness living, and emergency medicine. Having completed Vermont’s 290 mile Long Trail on a 29 day solo hike. She trained in Ski Patrol and worked providing on-mountain patient care. She also completed Wilderness First Responder training through the Wilderness Medical Association.
In Nepal, she participated in a Biomedical excursion connected to Mount Everest. That experience deepened her appreciation for the resilience of the human body, the power of traditional healing systems, and the importance of integrating modern knowledge with ancient practices.
Clare has always had a passion for art sprouting and supported by her upbringing in a home where both her parents were artist and the value of self expression was fostered. Pictured below- Clare’s artwork on display in Playa Samara fellow painter and friend Katarina.
Clare later traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to formally study traditional Thai massage — a practice that became one of the foundations of her current work. There she immersed herself in the philosophy of assisted stretching, movement-based therapy, breath awareness, compression techniques, and the meditative flow that makes Thai bodywork so unique. Rather than viewing massage as simply relaxation, she became fascinated by how movement and therapeutic touch can restore balance, mobility, and vitality to the body.
Her interest in holistic healing continued to grow through her study of sound therapy, inspired by her aunt, who introduced her to the use of singing bowls and vibrational healing practices. Over time, Clare began integrating sound into sessions to help encourage relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a deeper sense of grounding and restoration.
More than ten years ago, Clare was also introduced to cupping therapy after helping care for her best friend following a serious skiing injury involving a broken foot and ankle. Witnessing the body’s healing process firsthand sparked a fascination with recovery therapies and pain management techniques. Since then, cupping has become another valuable tool she incorporates into her sessions to support circulation, mobility, recovery, and muscular release.
Today, Clare continues expanding her education through mentorship with a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor in Costa Rica, where she is deepening her understanding of meridian theory, acupressure, Eastern diagnostics, movement therapy, and holistic approaches to healing. Her work now blends influences from Chinese, Thai, Tibetan, and Indian healing traditions with modern bodywork principles, mobility training, mindfulness practices, and therapeutic care.
Clients often describe Clare’s sessions as intuitive, grounding, restorative, and deeply personalized. Rather than following a rigid formula, she tailors every session to the individual — drawing from a wide range of modalities depending on what the body needs that day. Her goal is simple: to help people move better, feel better, reconnect with themselves, and experience greater ease in their bodies and lives.
Whether working with athletes, travelers, individuals recovering from stress or injury, or those simply seeking relaxation and balance, Clare brings warmth, presence, and genuine care into every session. Her practice is rooted not only in technical skill and education, but in the belief that healing happens best when people feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
She earned an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and induction into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Her background in psychology continues to influence the way she works with clients today — emphasizing compassionate care, nervous system regulation, and the connection between emotional and physical well-being.
